At a health club, safety and sanitary conditions are of paramount importance.   Health club mats serve several purposes in a gym or fitness center; they provide a slide free surface on which to place heavy exercise equipment, they give patrons a safe place to walk, and they are used for individuals to perform exercises like yoga and pilates.  They may also be placed in the restroom to guard against wet, slippery floors.
